I laughed so hard at that movie!

Michael Parks was AWESOME in it! Kinda a tear jerker movie on some levels.

Several Twilight Zone episodes—for example Talkie Tina and old woman being attacked by spacecraft.

The movie Don’t Look Now with Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie. The whole movie and especially the scene with the dwarf.

Trilogy of Terror— scene where woman realizes exactly what was in the package.

Also agree with many previously listed.

The Brutalist. It’s a masterpiece but is so so disturbing even with the good ending. The male rape in Italy was shocking.

What’s the name of the movie? I will make sure not to watch it.

The entire movie Tusk. I can't pick one scene, it just gets worse and worse.

I’m not looking for gory - more creepy or disturbing.

Some examples for me:
The moment in Jacob’s Ladder when Tim Robbins is on the subway and a tail flicks out from underneath a man’s coat.

The moment in The Others when the dead servants glide across the lawn towards the house.

The little girls (Topsy and Bopsy) that follow Diana around in Lovecraft Country. No CGI, just extremely effective use of movement, dance, and costuming.

Yes! Scary.

This is what immediately came to mind for me. I got instant goosebumps in the movie theater.

Rosemary’s Baby by Roman Polanski still holds up to being a very creepy film.

In...?

I don't want to google it, thx.

The Accused

+1 to The Accused ... but also the scenes in the series Unbelievable where the detectives interrogate the first victim and end up deciding that she was lying about being raped. Ugh.

More creep factor: The Pledge. Scene where Jack Nicholson character sets up a little kid to bait a child molester and killer.

There’s a scene in one of the “When a Stranger Calls” movies where the killer has painted himself to be camouflaged against a fireplace or something like that. He opens his eyes revealing himself, and it is so creepy.

Yeah I stopped watching Outlander because the rape and torture scenes were too much. Also stopped watching Game of Thrones because of al the rape and gratuitous violence.

+1

I stopped watching because of that rape and torture episode of Jamie. It was beyond disturbing. Never watched a single scene of the show again, but I had really enjoyed it up to then. It was horrific to watch.

Anonymous wrote:I’ve seen the Shining and Silence of the Lambs. Far creepier, IMO, is an earlier movie with Anthony Hopkins called Magic. I can’t pick a scene, because the creepiness builds up throughout the film. I’m not sure how I would experience it now, but I saw it in a theater when I was a college student— fond of reading Stephen King novels, and nothing I read creeped me out as much as Magic.

Yes, so creepy!
