Really unfortunate that you’re a parent, OP. I feel awful for the other kids, teachers, and parents that have to orbit your pathologies. Maybe some will see this and know to avoid your household at all costs.

Yes, I talked to him in grade 11 and in grade 12. And he did not change much. He was still very opinionated and adamant.

That's true. I don't think about him often. But I just happen to have that kind of memory where I retain lots of details about how people have reacted or what they have said. So I don't think people should be coming down hard on me.

Her responses definitely remind me of my autistic sister. You wouldn't really suspect her if having autism until she's in situations where she can't really understand why people are thinking or reacting a certain way. Her responses would be pretty similar to OP.
