Another reason to keep phones out of classrooms.

The public isn't going to keep up with the euphemism treadmill.

No, its the reason to have phones.
So you can do what?
So the helicopter parents can ask to speak to the school staff and police officers trying desperately to do their job so the parents can know everything that is going on RIGHT THAT SECOND.
So sad that this situation has become so ho hum that you are heckling a worried parent.
Exactly! And when it’s your kid and they text that they’re in lockdown and scared, let me tell you, you’ll be glad the kid had a cell phone so that could communicate with you. And you can reassure them. And know what’s happening from someone there and not waiting for a parentvue message.
Signed,

DP. No, we're not all nervous obsessives. I lived through a dozen bomb threats as a kid, and my parents didn't even know until I told them. If you have a modicum of perspective, you'll realize that being scared is insane. If you can't see that take your problems to therapy. Until then I'll heckle you all I want. You deserve it.
My kid was scared. I was able to help calm him down. Because of cell phones. If that makes me a nervous obsessive, fine. I’m not going to apologize for caring about my kid. Sorry you don’t.
THAT school! Smh
