Evan Glass.
Was wondering why there are these new signs around my neighborhood in intersections that dont make sense. Unbelievable how one lawmaker can accomplish such a dumbass move that will affect our commutes forever.

Anonymous wrote:Went to get beer today. Bar tender said he couldn't give me a pint of the beer because of MoCo laws that limited pours to 10 Oz only due to ABV. So stupid. In what world does this help? I could just order two beers to get more than a desired pint. Because of MoCo laws, I will get more drunk agyer being forced to buy two pours rather than being satisfied with an actual pint of beer. Such stupid nanny state junk.
The other really stupid law is use of roundup. Newsflash, use of roundup by a resident isn't going to cause mass cancer. It isn't going to kill pollinators. Yet MoCo nannying makes it 100x more difficult to control weeds on your own property. So dumb.
I thought it'd be fun to list other insane and asinine MoCo laws and ordinances. What you got?

Not true at all.

Bizarre complaint. Is there any jurisdiction in this area that makes snow-related closure decisions on a school-by-school basis, rather than countywide?

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:County controlled liquor sales. Why must I drive out to PG to get to a total wine? MoCo stores are often dingy, with crappy selections.
Because running the liquor monopoly contributes $30mln+ per year to the county budget, and they can't give up that sweet revenue stream even if it's anti-consumer and anti-business.
Maybe the county should set up other monopolies to pay the bills. Who needs Giant and Whole Foods when we can just have the county sell us our groceries?
