They just want to try and get him on camera taking responsibility for the shutdown again. Or more likely grasping for any fake excuse to capitulate like last time.

Yes. They want to be able to say: "Look, we did our duty, and Trump did not."

Problem is, Trump is going to blame the Democrats regardless, in his usual below-the-belt manner. And he will be automatically believed by a large portion of Republicans.

He can try and the 35% of MAGA will believe him, but the Dems are simply asking for the corruption to be put in check and to not put any items through the recission process. Why they would trust the Administration on these is beyond me, but the American Public would certainly understand the meaning behind the "no kings" shutdown.

Curious about this too. Monday only gives them 2 days.

They have plenty of time.

Ugh, I'm a big dummy. Submitted my passport renewal last week on line and didn't expedite. No travel outside the US until December, so hoping...

There’s only so much democrats and independents can do. Anyone who can do simple math should be able to realize that it’s so bad they couldn’t even get a majority.

MAGA is a cult. There is only so much one can do.

Trump isn’t making any decisions. They should send Pelosi to school Miller.

With a stopgap bill passing the House, but competing bills in the Senate that can't get 60 votes, who will be blamed for a shutdown?

Polls say Trump will be blamed.

And, Trump and the Republicans have a majority, plus they claim they won a landslide and have a mandate. Therefore if they can't pass a budget it's their own fault.
