That would be awesome. He’s on video tape assaulting a federal officer.
Multiple current senior officials from DOJ were at January 6th. None of this matters anymore. Law enforcement are suckers, they got rolled by Trump.
+1 seriously
You can break into the Capitol, attack cops, and work for the WH, but you can't throw a sandwich at a fed and keep your job as a fed.
WTF
This guy Jared Wise got a job at DOJ as a Senior Adviser despite being on video calling the Capitol Police Nazis and yelling "kill em" as officers were being attacked. He was pardoned, and now your tax dollars pay his salaries. So yeah, sandwich guy getting fired instantly for throwing a sandwich--I'm not surprised he wasn't indicted.

NPR has obtained police bodycam footage from multiple angles of the former defendant and current administration official, Jared Wise, berating officers and calling them "Nazi" and "Gestapo." NPR located the footage, which has not previously been published, in a review of thousands of court exhibits from Jan. 6 criminal cases, obtained through legal action by a coalition of media organizations. The Department of Justice had introduced the footage as an exhibit in Wise's trial. NPR also obtained the transcript of Wise's testimony, in which he acknowledged that he repeatedly yelled "kill 'em" as officers were being attacked and tried to explain his actions. Wise was not convicted of any crimes related to Jan. 6, due to President Trump's order to end all Capitol riot prosecutions.
Doesn't calling the cops "nazis" mean he's one of yours?

You can even sit idly by for hours while minions you sent to the Capital threaten to kill the VP, bust out windows, chase after fleeing members of Congress, and even engage in combat with law enforcement, and then be elected President — but one person tossing a sandwich at an officer’s bulletproof vest from 2 feet away is a bridge too far for these people. MAGA can’t be taken seriously.
No one cares bro. J6 was one big nothing burger compared to the SUMMERS of George Floyd riots.

Not federal grand juries.

Oh, I remember. They rolled in to arrest a Millenial gay man living in the West End who threw a Subway sandwich like they were Seal Team 6 taking down Bin Laden. Ludicrous.
?? What does this have to do with anything?

And they are on film assaulting cops like this person did?
By pardoning people captured on film assaulting officers, Trump has made clear this behavior is okay.
Actually most of the pardoned people were not on film assaulting people. Trump saud that there would still be prosecutions of some of the people who committed assault.
You have to be a real idiot to be a DOJ employee and assault someone on video. He is not getting his job back.
Just to clarify, Trump pardoned all people for offenses surrounding Jan 6, even the people who committed violent acts and even those who did so camera. None of them can be (re)prosecuted. Reports are that he thought about differentiating between violent and nonviolent offenders at Jan 6, but decided that was too much trouble. In any event, he pardoned them all.

He's such a wimp throwing his limp sandwich. Figures though. It all fits.
+1 such a brave manly man!![]()
Listen, no one wants to hear from the lady men of maga that talked all that big game and then lubed up for government tyranny. You are embarrassing yourselves.
PP here. I'm neither a Trump voter nor MAGA. I just know wimpy, cowardly behavior when I see it. You and Sean can have your lube discussions whenever you wish.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:This is great news, its just a sandwich and arresting him was political, since militarized patrolling of the city was political. They wanted to throw the book at a rightfully angry citizen.
Agree. I can't believe people who love guns and bullets and death so much got this upset about a sandwich.

He will. And needs to win.
It is very hard for an attorney to argue they did not know it was wrong to assault a cop. I'd love to know what his excuse is - "temporary insanity?"
It was a fu(king sandwich. This is wasting taxpayer money.
But it shows horrible jugement for someone who works in law enforcement.
+1 Childish behavior. Drunk. Screams obscenities and throws food at people when angry. Assaults a law enforcement officer. That's the kind of man we want working in the DOJ?!
Wait til you hear about all the sleazy shit Trump has done.
Deflection. When we're talking about wrongdoing, character, etc we aren't comparing a potential employee to those with worse behavior. Each job candidate stands on his or her own merits.
