Honest question: how does a parent supervise the use of chat GPT? Lots of kids use it for schoolwork. There's no way to see what your kid is typing in there from any parental control software I've seen.

You can’t, which is why there should be regulations around the technology.

It’s not a sense of control I seek, it’s protection of their innocence and childhood. Once you give that up to computers you don’t get it back. Until college it’s considered an educational tool in our home and not something they depend on for daily life because they have plenty of other interests and activities keeping them busy. I don’t worry about this minute aspect of their lives one bit. You raise your children however you want, I’m not over here attacking you so don’t know why you feel the need to attack me.

DP. Do you have a teenager? They can spend hours on laptops every day doing homework. Do you expect parents to sit next to them the whole time?

Mine sit at the kitchen table for at most 2 hours a night. Sounds like your kids are claiming to do homework and talking to chat gpt instead. Better be careful.
