And it's super rude to make everyone wait on you.

But isn’t it also super rude to make everyone wait on you while you back out of a space, too?

What’s the difference? Either way, you’re making people wait on you. What’s the difference?

Who takes a long time to back out? Especially with the cameras these days.

Are all of you idiots. Oh...wait...yes you are. I'm so sick of having to drive around you people.

So why is it fast to back OUT with cameras, but slow to back IN with cameras?

Can you explain this? Is it like a tear in the space-time-continuum? A wormhole? Dark magic?

Because backing out is easier since you are entering a larger space rather than a more confined space. More margin for error. If you back into a space then you have to perfectly center your vehicle within three different reference points that are mere inches from your car whereas backing into a larger street or aisle is usually many feet away from obstacles. Less precision needed.

So what you’re saying is….. people who back into spaces are better, more skilled drivers.

Got it.

OP is lucky. I wouldn’t back up for her to back in. I’d just take the space myself

The adage is- if you pass a spot, it's not your spot.

So you don’t know how to parallel park, huh?

Admit it. Be honest. You can’t do it, can you?
