No, there is still hope. Not all kids who get a Q1 request are accepted (some deferred, some rejected too), and kids who don't get Q1 request can be accepted too. I went down a rabbit hole after my DC got a Q1 request this week.
It will be interesting if we all come back and report the decision in a few weeks.
Does your DC’s school historically send a lot of kids to Princeton?
No, which is why I have our counselor a heads up that there might be a request for Q1 grades. She let me know when the request came and I checked the report before she submitted it.

There were at least 7 kids accepted to Harvard from my DC’s school (DMV) this past cycle. I don’t believe any were legacies. But one may have been a recruited athlete.
Name the school. That sounds like New England boarding not DMV. How many attend?

There were at least 7 kids accepted to Harvard from my DC’s school (DMV) this past cycle. I don’t believe any were legacies. But one may have been a recruited athlete.
