Short men can't use OLD.

He needs to get involved in volunteer work, a running club, community theater (he can do behind the scenes stuff if shy)... something where he can meet people in person.

My brother-in-law is 43, has a good job, is good looking...so he gets matches but he's on the spectrum so then he just plays message tennis with them for five days. You can't be serious. Many women won't date someone shorter than 5 ft 10. He needs to meet people in person. 5 ft 7 is short.

All sensible women under 5'.7 would date guys 5'.7 and up, if they are looking for marriage. Height doesn't commit, doesn't earn, doesn't comfort, doesn't help with chores, doesn't default good sex, doesn't come debt free. It can but not necessarily. Height is only necessary if you are tall yourself.

You would be wrong. I know plenty of women—even short ones—who only date over 5 ft 10. On an app, you can easily filter for it.

I am 5 ft 7. 3 inches taller is the minimum I ever considered for marriage.

I know many men who would not marry a woman under 5 ft 6 in because they did not want short kids.

He needs a woman or two to look over his profile and not his mom. He should also run it through Chat-GPT for a little polishing of the wording. It helps.

Unfortunately it’s true in a lot of cases. I know a few young women in their 20’s (friends of my gf) who are overweight, not pretty, and very broke who still hold out for a tall rich man. I’ve even tried to set them up with a few of my friends who are decent guys with decent jobs and they reject them upon seeing their photos (these are very normal looking guys, average heights).

Funny, my DD has the opposite experience. The men all still want to live in the hook up world and no one wants to actually date. She hates the apps for that reason.

Because she is stuck in the rut that the PP said, she thinks she must find "someone her age" and meet all the list requirements.

She must date 10-20 years older if she wants an actual marriage. Men in their 20s to 30s are still too immature these days for marriage that won't end in divorce.

This is something you need to understand: most men on dating apps cannot hookup very easily. Only the top 10-20%. For a huge % of guys, actually most of them, the only way to get consistent sex is to be in a committed relationship. So if a guy is non committal it means he has a steady stream of women going for him, probably an indication your daughter is going for only hot men.
