When DS was little, he and his best friend did so much together that his friend called me "Mom 2" and DS called his mom "Mom 2".

So you have very little kids? There is nothing normal about this. Even my younger kid, at 15, would not want a parent organizing events and staying with them. No, they do not call another parent mom. So many strange things going on here. My kids would not want to hang in this group.
