Covid gave them the opportunity to announce they were living separately - supposedly to keep Justin germ free to do his job as the Prime Minister but most believed they have been living separately well before Covid.

They officially announced their separation in August 2023 when Sophies relationship with Dr Marcos Bettolli was heating up. Marcos's ex wife was starting to be more vocal about their affair and cited it in her filing for divorce in April 2023.

The kids have continued to live at the family home with Justin and his household team as their school was near by. Sophie moved out but lived fairly close by and was often seen with the kids. They finalized their custody agreement outside of court so it isn't public knowledge. The oldest is at university this year and the younger two are 16 and 11.

He didn’t leave his family? So then he’s still with his wife and kids?

What a bizarre assessment of his current status. The guy left his family. I’m sure he’s still paying child support and visits, but he’s definitely in the throes of a rather public midlife crisis as he galavants around the globe with his new girlfriend.
