So you have evidence that the head of Economic Statistics was lying about job growth this month? If the same person had happened to report robust job growth would Trump have fired him? They did the same thing at Dept of Ed a few months ago. NAEP scores were low, they blamed it on the commissioner and fired her. Shoot the messenger seems to be the plan.

BLS has been operating on a shoestring budget. DOGE cut a large number of staff. I’m appalled that people are surprised at a large revision. One team had 1 person left. It’s been a dumpster fire.
