I agree with this. UVA admits 34% test optional applicants. This is a stark contrast to a school that requires scores.

UVA's out-of-state acceptance rate for the Class of 2029 is 12.5%, while UGA's out-of-state acceptance rate is around 28%. UVA is MUCH harder to get into OOS.

Not the OP. But for early action at UGA (which is more selective) OOS acceptance is reported at 23%. So I would assume overall after RD it's probably in the 25-28% range.
