Dumb of them to close the waitlist in the first place. Most others remain open.

Anonymous wrote:They are laying off a lot of staff and had some buy outs earlier this year. A friend works in their communications department and is waiting for her letter. This is after benefits were cut. Staff are furious since the school has plenty of $$$.

It’s very possible, would have required a revisit. Duke has attributes that his current school doesn’t (sports, weather, limited campus protests)
The campus protest is way overblown except maybe Columbia, wouldn’t decide based on that.
It’s an important factor for us, I’ll leave it at that.
Fair enough, just sharing mine is at one that probably would named on hot list and there was nothing this year. Absolutely do what’s best for you, congrats to your child.
