Almost all the teams play a pre-season tournament, a Columbus Day tournament, State Cup, and either ECRL playoffs (if they qualify) or a November tournament and then Jeff Cup in March. That is alot to fit into one season with 8 league games.

Some clubs have U15 and older teams play in the spring - sometimes in a combined team. It really depends who is available to play in the sping.

Besides WAGS, why would a team choose a tournament over more league games? Other local tournaments are just filled with NCSL teams.

How can one conference have 8 and the other have 10 (assuming VYS is in Old Dominion). Seems like it should be 9 and 9 then you have your 8 league games.

Why don't they put their teams in a spring league with a regular schedule? The first teams are paying more for a lot fewer games than the second/third/fourth teams.

Some clubs do put their RL teams in NCSL in the spring.

For the boys side, it shows ten teams for commonwealth and 9 for old dominion but i can't see the breakdown. Where do you see that?

Richmond shows Red, Orange and Blue RL teams at all ages for girls side.

I don't think SOCA is in Commonwealth.
Richmond Blue is, as well as Richmond Orange but Orange is just U11 and U12. Richmond Blue seems to start at U13, and there are Red and Orange for U11 and U12. Herndon removed their U11 and U12 teams so maybe that is why Orange as a standalone group is in there?
That still does not explain the fact that this does not look balanced as far as the number of games.

ECRL in NOVA is washed up. Better off in EDP or even NCSL top division.
