Higher wealth inequality and corruption. We don’t have the greatest social safety net, but what we do have prevents our poorest from living in absolute squalor. In high wealth inequality nations, there is usually also high crime and the rich have to live highly secured from the poor (see Brazil or South Africa).

I was reading them some of them were hiring behavioral psychologists to help plan for the inevitable challenges to authority that would come from staff after a time in the bunkers. These people are like every evil Bond villain. The problem for them is that we all know where the bunkers are, for the most part.
