Please watch and share. This is what is coming. This is not an alarmist discussing it; she is a researcher who has studied concentration camps across history and the world. Just posted today.

I will always remember that video floating around with the singing and dancing to “I will bote for Donal Trump”. Wondering if they are singing and dancing now, or if half of them are hiding family and friends. Miami baby.

That Latino machismo could never have a woman in charge. Same with so many men of all ethnic and ultra religious backgrounds.

And then Trump turned against them, even longtime Allie’s like Cubans, stripping them of protected status, targeting naturalized Hispanics and even US born Hispanics.

Black voters also moved to Trump but remained overwhelmingly Democratic.
Trump nearly doubled his support among Black voters between 2020 and 2024: 8% voted for him in 2020 vs. 15% last year. Still, 83% of Black voters backed Harris.

Polls show that Hispanics are indeed worried.

- **Pew Research Center (February 24–March 2, 2025)**: A survey found that 42% of Hispanic adults worry about deportation for themselves or someone close to them, higher than other racial groups. Additionally, 63% of Hispanic adults oppose allowing law enforcement to check immigration status during routine activities like traffic stops, with opposition stronger among Latino Democrats (39%) compared to Latino Republicans (42% support). Concerns about racial profiling and proving citizenship status are notable, with 43% of Latinos fearing arrests despite legal status.[](https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2025/04/30/latinos-worry-more-than-other-us-adults-about-deportations/)[](https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trumps-first-100-days-latino-voters-disapprove-economy/)

- **UnidosUS, Voces Unidos, LULAC, and Climate Power (April 2025)**: This poll of 1,002 registered Latino voters showed strong opposition to mass deportations, with 78% supporting deportations only for dangerous criminals and not long-residing undocumented immigrants. Additionally, 56% of Latino voters disapprove of Trump’s deportation program, and 81% believe it’s unacceptable to target legal U.S. residents. Economic concerns, like cost of living, were prioritized over immigration enforcement.[](https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trumps-first-100-days-latino-voters-disapprove-economy/)[](https://unidosus.org/blog/2024/12/18/understanding-hispanic-voters-immigration-priorities-in-the-2024-election/)

- **Equis Research with Data for Progress (April 16–May 5, 2025)**: A survey of 2,545 registered Hispanic voters found 73% agree that mass deportations tear families apart, and 71% believe they unfairly target law-abiding undocumented immigrants. While 86% support deporting violent criminals, only 25% favor an enforcement-only approach. Latinos trust Republicans more on border security (+10 points) but Democrats on immigration reform (+8 points). Concerns about racial profiling and safety were significant, with 65% believing Trump’s policies increase harassment of Latinos.[](https://www.weareequis.us/research/may-2025-poll-on-latinos-trump-and-immigration)

- **Mixed Sentiments on X**: Posts on X reflect polarized views. Some claim over 50% of Latinos support ICE policies, citing a poll suggesting 40% back ICE raids, though this is not universally representative. Others highlight Latino opposition, with one post noting a 3:1 margin against mass deportations, emphasizing concerns about racial profiling and family separation. These posts are inconclusive without broader context.

Overall, recent polling indicates that while many Latinos support deporting violent criminals, there is significant opposition to mass deportations and harsh ICE policies, driven by fears of family separation, racial profiling, and impacts on law-abiding immigrants. Economic issues often take precedence over immigration enforcement concerns.[](https://www.weareequis.us/research/may-2025-poll-on-latinos-trump-and-immigration)[](https://unidosus.org/blog/2024/12/18/understanding-hispanic-voters-immigration-priorities-in-the-2024-election/)[](https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2025/04/30/latinos-worry-more-than-other-us-adults-about-deportations/)

I am a US born Hispanic citizen in my 40s. Live here all my life. My parents had green cards when I was born. While I am a citizen, I feel like that means nothing anymore and with my brown skin, hair, and eyes, could easily be rounded up by ICE. They take people and ask questions later. It seems they are going anywhere and with the increased funding they have with this new budget bill, their presence is going to be increased significantly, especially in "sanctuary cities."

At 12 I read the Diary of Anne Frank. At that time, I was shocked how the world could let that happen and so I then decided to be a human rights lawyer. I made it all the way to a graduate degree in International Affairs and stopped short of law school due to the cost. Still, I worked in democracy assistance programs to support countries around the world. All this to say, I love the US and what is stands for but feel so betrayed by my fellow Americans.

These claims to go after criminals are nonsense. They are blaming us for the country's problems when in fact if the Hispanic population in the US was a country, we would be the 5th wealthiest in the world. They are dehumanizing all of us. They are referring to us as alligator food. This reminds me of the Hutus calling the Tutsis roaches just before the genocide in Rwanda. They are sowing so much hate and I see no end to this.

I am scared.

Troll.
Thank your fellow Hispanics for handing the win to their favorite president. #sexismracismwonin2024

In order for Hispanics to vote, they need to be (naturalized) Americans first. She didn’t say anything about ethnicity.

Obviously talking about the ones who could vote/voted.

Anonymous wrote:There are plenty of Hispanics who aren’t worried at all. So many Hispanics really don’t like the new wave of asylum seekers who are often seen as demanding, entitled, and looking for free resources.

It takes for some categories 20 years for a US citizen to legally sponsor a relative from Mexico. So when you have hundreds of thousands of Hispanics following immigration laws, there is resentment that people are jumping the line.

When you have Hispanic immigrants who came illegally anytime before the last 5-7 years and hustled to work and never cost cities billions to be housed and feed by some cities like NYC, theye is a feeling that the immigration round up is due to the new influx of so many claiming asylum.

And the new migrants who claim asylum can legally work after a year while so many illegal immigrants spent 20-30 years working in the shadows.

Now add regional difference with Hispanics from some countries like Venezuelans not liked by Hispanics from other countries. And plenty of Hispanics annoyed there hasn’t been better screening to keep out migrants who are criminals who then prey on other migrants.

You really can’t lump all Hispanics together. It really is a very diverse group. Just look at the percentage of ICE who are Hispanic. It is a very sizeable percentage.

In normal times, these would all be legitimate issues. However, Hispanics don’t have the luxury of working through these issues because Trump has reduced it all to brown = bad = deport. There were arguments galore on this board before the election where people tried to warn Hispanics that they were not safe with Trump and they should not vote for him and those people were attacked. Sooooo……

Anonymous wrote:Yes and honestly I’m baffled by any non-white person who voted for Trump. I can see voting for the Republicans maybe years ago if you were a fiscal Republican/concerned with social issues. But how can any intelligent person of color not see through the “woke is bad” BS? They laid it all out…Project 2025, Steven Miller, being associated with white supremacist groups. Thinking you were safe because you are the “right type” of immigrant. Now what?

So this is the ultimate irony - the very hard won civil rights and equality became so normalized and expected that minorities felt comfortable voting for Trump even though he's pretty racist and he's surrounded by white supremacist types.

A large percentage of ICE officers are of Hispanic descent.

Don't hang out in Home Depot parking lots, don't join a gang, don't live in a homeless encampment dominated by illegal immigrants and you'll never even see an ICE officer.

Yes, yes there are - and guess who's taking note:

“The good news is, alligators are guaranteed at least 65 million meals if we start now,” she [Laura Loomer] posted on X.

I think Hispanics probably ought to be worried. This woman is advising Trump.

sigh.. He wants to go back to Europe but our kids are in HS/college. I don't want to leave them. The good thing is that they have dual citizenship so they can jump ship if they need to.

I'm holding out (a little) hope that after 2028 things will get better. DH thinks Trump will maneuver to hold onto power post 2028. I'm sure Trump would love that, but I'm trying to keep faith in our Constitution, that MAGA/Trump want to sh*^ all over.
