What we ACTUALLY need is a coherent visa program that lets us legally get the labor we actually need, without undercutting American workers.

Well...to be honest we have so many millions in the US illegally that realistically it would be impossible to actually deport them all....I think there should be amnesty granted...but not a blanket amnesty. Rather, amnesty based on certain criteria (i.e., having lived in the US for 20+ years, having children born in the US, etc.) but at the same time no amnesty for those who committed crimes or are in jail.
