Summers are hot and humid. Always.


I am 62 and don’t agree. We had no A/C growing up and other than 5 nights a summer, it was tolerable. Now it is simply a nightmare if you don’t have A/C. BTW I now have A/C.

Yeah this is a mild year overall so far across the entire country. The media just makes it "extreme" all the time now for ratings, because MSM is losing all it's viewers due to all their lying.


Perhaps, but this was an extreme event in many places. All time records were tied in NY and Maine, and perhaps elsewhere. All time records for warm overnight lows were set or tied in five states.

You lost me at snakes hatching in the flower beds. Would contemplate a move to Alaska if this was my garden.


Alaska had its first ever head advisory this week.

I assume you’re so agitated about global warming this week because all of May and June was below average and you assumed global warming was over?

It’s called weather. Day to day localized fluctuations aren’t relevant. Don’t be a moron.

Yup. People who understand science know that "weather" is determined over days to weeks, while "climate" is determined over averages involving many decades to hundreds of years of weather averages.

I blame the "news" media. They sensationalize everything now, everything is a "breaking" story and even their music/sound effects are designed to elicit fear from the viewers. Everything they do is evil now.
