Ask Target about this. They stopped being woke and lost millions.
The problem with the billion dollar raised was that it was raised through a bunch of different PACs who were not on the same page on strategy.

Trump won by 1.5%. The black and latino men to moved over to the Rs will move back.
Don't overplay your hand.

They do support some important voting rights litigation without which it would be increasingly difficult to win in some states. They are often the lead pocketbook on a lot of those cases.
I’m not sure how much they do as far as crafting candidate messages. I don’t think they play much role there.
They should. Someone needs to organize the Dems on messaging. Punchy, short, to-the-point messaging. The Republicans all repeat theirs. Dems on the other hand are all over the map with no consistent or coherent messaging. Anyone who knows anyone at all in Dem politics should be listening to me on this. It's one of their BIGGEST liabilities right now. Republicans eat their lunch on messaging.
Genuinely curious what messaging you would suggest.
For starters:
We stand strong against illegal immigration.
We stand strong against crime and believe in prison time for violent crimes.
We stand strong for all children and will do what's needed to ensure they receive the education and support they need in well run schools with teachers who are dedicated to their profession.
We stand strong against illegal immigration.
-simple look at immigration numbers year over year says otherwise
We stand strong against crime and believe in prison time for violent crimes.
-how about non-violent crimes? So the guy who broke into my car to steal my property gets off free?
We stand strong for all children and will do what's needed to ensure they receive the education and support they need in well run schools with teachers who are dedicated to their profession.
-is that why you are trying to cut my 8th grade kids advanced algebra class.
These are horrible messages because swing voters (I am one) know they aren’t true.
Dems best play is to focus on abortion and Trumps combative personality.

-if this were true, then why aren't they at least in part supporting ICE efforts -- it's a simple statement....Dems should come out and state we support the principle behind ICE deportations, but not the current extreme methods/actions.
We stand strong against crime and believe in prison time for violent crimes.

But good lord, the Democratic Party is a mess. The fact that 25 year old David Hogg was the Vice Chairman of the DNC to begin with is ridiculous. Not to mention Randi Weingarten, probably the most loathed person in America among parents who remember how she wrecked an entire generation of kids when she shut down public schools for a year and a half. Combine that with geriatric and out of touch Chuck Schumer and mopey Hakeem Jeffries as the present leaders of the Democratic Party.
I mean, really? This is the Democrat's chosen alternative to Donald Trump?
I think the post-Trump Republican Party will be a more effective way to generate change. Democrats are so far down the rabbit hole of intersectionality and identity that they have left the real world. It is not an effective party anymore. And the incompetence and internal politics of the DNC reflect that. Let's be real. Democrats have not risen to this moment in time at all. And that's not likely to change. I think a better strategy is to get involved in Republican primaries and find the sane candidates there. Because Democrats are hopeless.
Good try there. The GOP—now MAGA—party has not been on the right side of most issues for decades. There’s no reason to think that a party that has so wholeheartedly embraced someone like Trump will have any redeeming qualities after he is gone.
Disagree. Many of us think the GOP is finally on the right side of most issues.
You are right, but the problem is that Trump got a lot of soft support. Support that will not last and certainly won't last if Vance is the candidate.
The soft support that has swung from party to party in each of the three most recent elections will continue to do so every four years until we elect a normal and competent POTUS again.

Democrats can SAY that all they want but their actions are in direct conflict with that message.
How? Dems wanted an immigration bill and Trump stopped it. Also, Obama deported more people than any other president. Please humor me with Dems who support violent criminals. Don't bring up Defund the police b/c VERY FEW cities actually did that. Unfortunately, we were bad at getting that message out. We believe in education. Charter schools and vouchers are not going to be better for education. It will just cost a lot more. Closing the Dept of Ed is going to end badly. We have a Secretary who thinks AI is A1. Please.
But not in reality. Let me correct you.
Dems wanted an immigration bill to codify their bad behavior in to law. Good for the DNC. Not good for the country.
I don't care about deportation numbers. If you don't allow illegal aliens in to begin with, then your deportation numbers are going to be lower. DUH.
There were a host of prosecutors who were soft on crime that were appointed by democrats.
If charter schools aren't going to be better than public education, then why is everyoneclamoring to get their offspring out of public school and in to charter schools? You're standing on the sidelines telling people not to believe what they see!
The Department of Education is a bureaucracy that can't get out of its way and does precious little to improve education. It just throws out grants and money everywhere. Money doesn't fix everything.
It's not the broadcast of your message that sucks. It's your actual message (policy) that sucks.
