Throwing rocks is known to be very dangerous and can kill people. In some countries like Israel for example, you can be executed because of the risk.

Authoritarians across the globe don’t use tanks to run over dozens of people. Even communist China doesn’t do that. They shoot into protest crowds and claim that they were just doing their job.
Uh, Tiananmen square? One photo of a tank stopping does not mean the Chinese did not plow over hundreds with military vehicles.
Read a book or try using something called google.

The US military is at war with over 1/2 of the US citizens. The US military is attacking peaceful protesters and other citizens.

Um that’s not the military’s job, you get that, right? The state and mayor have the right to decide how to hand their local protestors. They didn’t ask for US military support. Remember ‘states rights’ blah blah? Or was that just a pretext?
