Thats a lot even for FCPS!Anonymous wrote:Today was Jurassic Park, followed by The Sound of Music, followed by Puss in Boots Final Wish, followed by Angry Men, followed by Hidden Figures. The poor kids eyes looked red from staring at the screens. This is middle school. I wonder what the next 2 days will be like. Couldn’t the teachers break this up with a fun, educational game? Even doing flash card races was more fun than 5 movies straight. Poor FCPS. Reid should pay a visit.
That’s binge watching movies at this point!Anonymous wrote:Today was Jurassic Park, followed by The Sound of Music, followed by Puss in Boots Final Wish, followed by Angry Men, followed by Hidden Figures. Anonymous wrote:No one wants 5 days at Memorial Day weekend and then the teachers will complain about how the kids are checked out. FCPS hates education.
Anonymous wrote:That's only 2 days, it takes 5 to push the end a full week back. They should get rid of one off day in mid-October, one in early-November, one in late January, one in March or April, one in May and then the last day is June 10.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Be sure to thank the school board for extending the school year with unnecessary religious holidays!
Check next year's calendar. Instead of school ending on June 10, 2026 (better yet June 5) it doesn't end until June 17! The school year starts August 18 so it is a FULL week longer from the first to last day and nearly two weeks longer than FCCPS! That calendar is WAY TOO MESSY and LONG!

Yep, next year has that 5 day Memorial Day weekend that nobody ever asked for.
Just a debacle.

They can't watch jurassic park in fcps, not even at the high school level. District policy caps out at PG for high school movies.
