Will conservatives to Harvard and study Gender or Racism studies?
Have they ever?
The big donors at Harvard the last 50 years really in finance, investing, o&G, life sciences, or tech.
Maybe Obama’s donate to the H law school but they’re career activists living off the govt dole or book royalties.

Win win!
That’s why nonprofits are going to start paying taxes. Abused donations for lifestyle living and ponci schemes
As someone who worked for non-profits for near poverty level wages for years, the amount of ignorance (and brainwashing) in this post is astounding.
Next time your community deals with a natural disaster don't call the Red Cross. You think they are pointless.
And your dear leader already hobbled FEMA, so good luck with them.
Are you at Red Cross? What’s your overhead? What do you think of how BLM was run and their overheard %?
I worked at Gates Foundation before moving here, we donate with an ROI lens.
Congrats. Gates Foundation staff are known to be arrogant. Checks out.
Lol. A donor is arrogant because they want 90-95% of their donation to go directly to the cause, supplies, service programs instead of paying you to go to boondoggle conferences, travel, bloat admin, and overpay yourself for being a middleman?
My salary working for non profits ranged from: volunteer to 65K. Very few non-profit staff earn even a fraction of what they could easily earn in the for-profit sector.

We do take note of indications of anti-white bias or anti-wealth bias, and generally speaking, more conservative campuses are free of this. Our kids deserve to be in an environment where they are welcome and included. We visited one state college in the south and eliminated it as an option based on the tour guide's repeated emphasis on all the offices and services devoted to minority students (I don't see why my kids should be the only race on campus not to receive these services- we will pay the same tuition and deserve the same services).
So you want to propagate the racism and discrimination of peak Jim Crow era. Got it.
Your side is the one openly advocating for racial discrimination. And over on the thread about the Jewish couple, actual murder.
Anonymous wrote:It feels like the rich men running things right now want to put college out of reach for middle and lower class families. 60% of college attendees are women, so it's a way to get them married and having babies instead of "getting ideas" in college. And the men who don't go to college can do all the work that the immigrants they are deporting were doing.

no, they want to avoid schools where the sons and daughters will be constantly subjected to ridiculous nonsense and race baiting - thanks for giving a good example.

Wealthy MAGA have inherited money and go to elite colleges.
This is the point right here. They will continue to send there kids to elite colleges while the idiots who are worshipping them don’t. Wealthy MAGA are making things easier for themselves.
I run in these circles and no, we aren’t allowing our kids to be indoctrinated at those schools. We are wealthy and connected already and don’t need to have our kids mix and mingle at northeast elite colleges where they have no intention of making their lives. Back in the day, Ivy etc was all about networking and maybe spending years in Chicago or NY etc but now we feel the cohorts there aren’t people valuable to get to know.
Wealthy MAGA here also, and this is exactly right. Short of some kind of Shakespearean tragedy, my kids have access to the best networks. They have jobs waiting for them due to family connections. We are looking for schools that will teach them to make good decisions, to work hard, and to present well. You cannot find such an education at the Ivys right now. They are dedicated to churning out zealots. And I say this as an Ivy Leaguer. Those schools have absolutely nothing to offer us anymore.
well said. and I wonder when "go woke go broke" will begin to affect formerly elite colleges like the Ivies and NESCAC. I'd be willing to bet the family described above is full pay, while the DEI admits are mostly on scholarship. if they drive away conservative families, who will subsidize the scholarship students?

Also if you are super conservative and your kid got into an Ivy League school will you refuse to let them go?

It's quite hilarious to me that conservatives persist in their notions that things like "gender studies" represent any meaningful percentage of the academic offerings and enrollments at universities.
It's comments like that which betray conservatives as to being out of touch with reality and mainly just getting most of their "information" from right wing talking heads.
Love to see the data on undergrad degrees by major at Harvard each of the last fifteen years.
I understand they only have applied math and sciences and BA degrees, correct? Any Bach of Science degree programs in undergrad?
