I think the reason we are in this situation is because middle class americans didn't want to do those jobs.
After an illegal worker raid at a poultry processing plant during his first term (sorry, i can't recall the nae), the plant was advertising for workers the next day AT HIGHER WAGES.
Union wages and union labor undermines the argument that people aren't willing to do those jobs.
Yes they are, but at higher wages. How does that impact the low earning consumer who buys groceries?
By your logic, factories should employ slaves to produce cheaper goods for low earning consumers.
