You need to enforce servings. No one needs more than 4oz of a protein and then 2 sides at a meal. This is why Americans have a massive obesity problem.
I would be famished if that's all I ate and Im a average sized middle aged female (5'4, 115 pounds). I have always eaten relatively large quantities of food and am the same size I was in HS.

There is no exact amount of food that is right for everyone.
