Yeah, I don’t personally use edibles or anything CBD/THC but tons of lovely responsible UMC country club parents I know use edibles, micro dose mushrooms, etc in lieu of alcohol. I would also just the “hehe off smoking pot” moms when there are young kids nearby but I judge the parents bringing booze to daytime kids 1 hour sporting events way more!

it’s the smell that makes me uncomfortable. it’s legal where I am so the smell is everywhere and it’s vile. My kids know exactly what the smell is at this point. So if you choose to smell like that and make everyone have to endure it then I do judge. Gummies don't make me judge because I don’t have to smell it.

This thread is making me nostalgic for my early twenties when I smoked a lot of pot and enjoyed it thoroughly.

I live in New York and lots of people smoke pot here. I don’t like secondhand smoke around my kids, but i would partake if I was just out with other adults. I don’t like the feeling of smoking so I would take an edible (although I think the high from a hit is better). I’ve only done it in situations where my kids were being cared for by sober adults though.

TLDR fine with it but not around kids and not regularly.

That is a hard no for me. My kids are not allowed to play with people whose parent smoke Marijuana.

Most 40 something year old women I know strongly prefer thc gummies to alcohol, myself included. Smoking is kind of different because it smells bad and isnt discreet. But i trust people who take gummies more than those who drink regularly. I dont do either if i need to drive to take care of kids.

Also CBD is like taking a vitamin. It doesn’t get you high. You shouldn't think anything differently than you think about people who use cough drops.
