I think that was regarding some zero entries, not the actual scores.

We got an email from FCPS that said there was an error with the score upload.

“Dropping 75 points” could be 2-3 questions if typically high scoring.

The question to point calculation is seriously f’d up and obscure. When I used to teach middle school a 600 would be perfect and a 549 would be one missed question.

One boy he knows is failing English for the year and got a passed advance on the SOL. Must be a weird year.

It almost feels like when a line is off in the excel spreadsheet, but surely they don't use those for this, right?

Is this elementary or middle school?

Perhaps the adaptive nature of the test and questions went too far out of bounds this year. FCPS ought to review and adjust. I’m hearing AAP math was the same.

Anyway, kind of relieved seeing some similar cases.

Interesting... My 6th grader with a similar score and also said he didn't understand some of the questions. His score bounces between 480 and 530 in the previous years.

Yesterday, math science and reading were posted for my 5th grader, all passed advanced. But today, the math score was gone.

Maybe you should find some English enrichment for your child similar to the math program you put him in to make sure he does well in math.

They dumbed down the test for your dumb kid. I thought you white supremacists were all about being merit based and not affirmative action. I guess when the affirmative action is for dumb white kids you’re fine with it.

OH MY GOD. When I said English I meant Language Arts, you idiot, I didn't mean the English language. WTF???

Yeah right! We know what “you meant”. Don’t worry this is an anonymous blog so you can pretend you don’t hate Asians in public and stay a bigot in private at home.

Anonymous wrote:Are you all finding SOL scores in parentvue? My kids have taken all their SOLs but it only displays 2 titles with a 0 for both. The other 3 for my 5th grader don't show up at all yet.

Odd that this is a school by school thing and not automated from the score database.

My kid told me her score. She found out from her own middle school teacher. But then yes, I looked on SIS and reading was in the testing history. Math isn’t posted yet.

Which grade(s)?

Look, on teacher Facebpok pages, at what teachers across the state are saying about grades 7 and 8 reading tests. They are saying scores are down and there are almost no 600s. In the entire state.

Grades 3-6
