I've been on a hot cereal kick lately.

Ok this is a weird one, but my family’s comfort easy food is cream of wheat with tomato sauce and lots of spaghetti cheese (always locatelli)

I love savory hot cereal. That is basically what shrimp and grits is.

Or a polenta! I love savory with my oatmeal and hot buckwheat cereal.

Salt, pepper and a lot of parm. Herbs if I have them.

Yes, cream of wheat. So comforting. My kids don’t like it, which is baffling.

My kids won't touch it either. I make it with brown sugar, walnuts, and raisins. It's like a melted cookie.

Triscuits, piece of Kraft single, nuke for 15 seconds, top with a slice of pickled jalapeno. Sooooo good.
