How? It's a bunch of drunk, overprivileged, corrupt a-holes.

It's the least-safe week outside of DC, that's for sure.

I am not anti-cop, but I do not understand why they are doing this.

Almost ran me and my dog over crossing when we had the light. Didn't even appear aa part of an organized motorcade. They don't have jurisdiction here this is just their New Year's Eve office party time to hooligan around and let loose. I'm pro police generally but uoi have to.acknowledge this for what it is.

If it were then great but it’s not.

Name a safer week. We’ll all wait.

Happy Police Week to those that risk their lives for us.

Bullshit. There is no reason for the cops to go from place to place with sirens on and causing gridlock. They aren't patrolling DC neighborhoods - they are going up and down Conn. Ave. to go to their hotel.
They are doing nothing to make the residents of DC safe, they aren't here to protect and serve the community.

You have it backwards. Needlessly running lights when there is no emergency is risking our lives for them. We don’t want them in our neighborhoods.

You don’t want them in your neighborhoods until you do. You would call them for help just like the next person if someone broke into your house or robbed you. You are a sanctimonious a-hole.

Do you have a seizure disorder? How will lights put your life in danger?

Here’s the schedule for the week. Stop by and thank an officer.

I am sure they aren't the only ones you don't want in your neighborhood.

Trump will user the police and national guard to confiscate the credit cards of every woman in America.

People! Have you even read plan 2025 ?!?

Put down the crack pipe.

no its true!

Plan 2025 has section about what they are doing to or going to do to women, that will strip women of basic rights: transferring financial assets from women to male guardians, ending workplace protections for women, introducing government monitoring of women’s financial transactions, and the phasing out of access to credit, loans, and property ownership for all unmarried women!

That has nothing to do with cops. That’s federal.

Like Rolling Thunder?

I don’t see a problem with this.

I mean...no, because Rolling Thunder is a charity event to honor veterans. DC police week motorcycle escorts are just out of town cops playing with sirens in order to run red lights and make their dinner reservation faster on vacation.

You realize police week is to honor our fallen police.

You live in D.C. Cities are loud. Do you miss the street takeovers and dirt bikes?
