I don't see the purpose of this post. I know exceptional students at BASIS making reasonable decisions about their college path in light of astronomical costs. I am terrified for my student that will be going off to school in 4 years time and to think about what those campuses might look like given the attacks on academic freedom currently. Bloody Hell! Stop the bragging about the universities, the kids at BASIS have to endure enough stress.
I call troll. The purpose of this thread is to celebrate the graduating class of BASIS DC. Really doubt that PP is a DCPS teacher if they couldn’t figure that out.

Agreed. There is a thread that has no posts asking people to shout out the college results for their schools. People would rather slam BASIS that say what's good at their own schools. Frivolous jealousy IMO.
Congrats to BASIS students, families and staff!

See? You couldn’t resist complaining rather than focusing on these kids. Find another thread.
Point taken. Though, you are also complaining about my post.
Still, let's start anew. Congratulations to BASIS students, families and staff on these achievements!

You clearly don't know any of the juniors or seniors if you don't think they have a full enough high school experience with extra curriculars. It may not be the experience that you had, but these kids lead incredibly impressive busy lives.

Anonymous wrote:PP who is a BASIS senior parent. There are actually 46 students in the class of ‘25. Interesting that someone is just grasping for data to discount the achievements of the class. As a long time BASIS parent, I agree that the boosterism on this board is over the top, but the haters are really something.
