Tom was not flexible - for him to have a relationship with Siri would mean that Suri would be raised as a scientologist (and likely lose contact with Katie if she wasn't one also). Katie wasn't up for THAT and that's why she did what she did. If Tom had been willing to separate those two things, she would have been up for it. Her dad was a divorce lawyer if I remember, and that seems to be the only reason she got out with Suri, unlike Nicole Kidman.

A partner within 10 years of one's age for most healthy adults is no big stretch. But this is 25 years. I also, personally, don't find him manly. I think he's a put-together "attractive person" but not in a sexually attractive way (again, to me). Absolutely nothing to do with his height, but rather his skin has taken on that eerily vain "older man trying to look young" thing in its texture and puffy cheeks next to maturely lined eyes, and his hair is a BIG ICK for me (too long in an aging-rocker way).
