I have no idea what is meant by calling him a fake Catholic. Does he not believe in the tenets of the Nicene Creed, the seven sacraments, and transubstantiation? Does he not practice in accordance with the laws of the Church?

How can any one of us possibly know whether he does or not?


Valid point, and yet, both Pelosi and Biden were denied communion so, denying communion to (and thus participation in Catholic life) to Catholic politicians based on their public stances on political issues has happened in the recent past. Don't expect Vance to be immune.

Jill Biden has never pretended to be Catholic. She hasn’t named her specific denomination but she has gone on the record about being Christian but not Catholic.
