It’s not about leveling the play field. It’s about technical kids with size and speed who never get developed properly because it’s too late by the time everyone catches up to them. Their ability to use their technical skills stay stagnant bc they’ve never had to use them much when they can easily can outmuscle and outrun opponents.

Their coaches and parents do them a disservice not having them play more challenging teams. Don’t worry about the little kids. They’re the ones benefiting from having to play bigger players, and being challenged constantly.
