You lefties made a mistake. A big one. You put immigrants ahead of citizens.

When flooding the border with illegal immigrants, you insisted citizens get vaxxed. You did not require the same of illegal immigrants. I recall Joe Biden telling us he's "losing patience" with people not getting vaxxed. You democrats went after people's jobs if they did not get vaxxed, but you ignored illegal immigrants.

You gave business loans and mortgages targeted to illegal aliens through some "special" banks with favorable terms for illegals. Citizens did not get the same bite at the apple.

You ignored laws when it came to student lending. DEI and ESG was just a part of your institutionalized reverse racism. You did it willingly and loudly to let whites know they were second class citizens. Don't act like this did not happen. It was there for everyone to see.

Now, it's payback time. You never thought that day would come. I want to hear no complaints from minorities. You loved it when the DNC and all their affinity groups were pushing the hatred.

β€œI want to hear no complaints from minorities.” Keep blaming brown people while really rich white folk keep stealing from you. Even as the country crumbles around you, you will still be blaming Biden, the DNC, and Soros.

I kind of get it, I guess. Some people feel powerless so they punch down at easier targets, at low hanging fruit. Most people don't feel like they can fight back against the top less than 1% who actually impact our day to day lives--higher taxes for us while they skate. Union Busting. Poor wages. Controlling all the wealth. Laying off people for AI, automation, and profit margins. rushing us with medical insurance.

So they blame and go after the people they can actually hurt: the immigrants who also impact their daily lives by building our houses, cleaning our houses, and picking our food.

If people actually examined the net positives and negatives of the billionaires versus the undocumented, the math would be clear. But we seemingly have no power over the ones who do hurt us, and someone has to hurt more than us so we don't feel so powerless.

So here we are in this dystopian version of America.

Amen.

Anonymous wrote:I'm honestly scared for my Gen Alpha kids and the mess they're inheriting. Schools are underfunded, healthcare is a joke unless you're rich, and more basic rights are getting chipped away every day. Meanwhile billionaires hoard everything and politicians only care about their own interests instead of actually doing anything. Climate change is getting worse and half the country still acts like it's not real. I don't want my kids growing up thinking this is normal. I want them to believe in a country that actually cares about people, not just profits. But right now, it’s hard to feel hopeful. And that's just the surface. I'm not even going to start talking about the economy they'll inherit.

it is not just the billionaires. the middle class is disappearing. we have the educated elites consuming most of the resources and the working poor, i.e. the deplorables, doing worse and worse.

really it is the people like DCUM that are a major part of the problem. Pushing for more and more immigration , to lower wages even further. while complaining about a fed job making over $252,000 but no raise one year.

I don't see it ending well.

Truly! Yes, this is the best time in history to live quantitatively. But it is not the best time to be living in America. As a Gen Xer, I have been an adult through the dotcom boom and bust, 9/11, the great recession, and COVID. And all of those times were better than what we are spiralling toward now. But we are in the blender and can't see it.

That is great we all should have hope but we need to come together and say no to facism and dictatorship. We need to stop pretending this is like a 9/11 it's not. We were a united front then facing outside threats. The threat is coming from within this time. Stop sitting here passively.

"Fascism and dictatorship" - whenever democrats lose elections.

So sad for you that you can't see what is happening-perhaps it's a lack of education?. I guess when all you do is watch FOX this is what you get. Continue on worshiping your little orange dictator.

My God this! I can't imagine any of these white suburban women living through the Depression or any of the World Wars. Or prohibition. Or not having the right to vote.

We have it better here than literally any other country and yet the sky is perpetually falling for some of you.

Get some perspective. Get some therapy. Understand how good we have it. And for the love of God quit whining.

STOP! I'm not the OP and maybe some of it to you was over the top but all the things and freedoms you love and cherish are at stake. For gods sake wake up and stop telling others to stop whining you literally are whining in your own entitled way. Trump hates women and so do the people who created and are trying to implement P2025. It's not a drill take off your rose colored glasses.
