If used responsibly with respect to health, and properly with respect to food preparation, yes Sushi can be prepared with salt as an ingredient.

The type of salt would matter as fish is delicate. Japan I’ve seen black salt used on certain preparations.

But this is DCUM and the Japanese don’t know anything about Sushi.
