Herndon huge change? No no no… the people at Herndon are stepping up and showing up this month and next until people make that first payment and tie themself up with the club… then they’ll go back to doing what they’ve done the past 3 years I’ve been around the club which is NOTHING!
They had a coach meeting yesterday to let them know they don’t have any idea what teams the coaches will be coaching. Everyone is leaving Herndon! People at Herndon don’t care about anyone who lives and is from Herndon to start with. The only thing they care about is making up the numbers so they can get paid

Isn’t that why 1 of those started Loudoun East while simultaneously rejecting VRSC’s shekels?

And who was that?

Herndon! Huge changes happening and focus on the girls program. Tryouts starting next week.

Elaborate on what huge changes means? I need specifics.

It’s funny how much people love NM. I bet Herndon staff would say different.

Loudoun parent here and it feels like the same thing is happening to us. Feel for you.

Loudoun has been very calculated with their moves this off season. Yes, it sucks for girls who lost ECNL and people who think they need their own park - but they have a long term plan. GFR has no plan.

Same thing happened this time last year, two respected coaches and directors fired before spring season, KB and RP. A lot of good coaches and players left as a result. Why would any coaches want to go to a club with this history. The players suffer the most.

It seems like not many clubs want NM "on their side" - ask GFR or FVU or Mclean how that worked out for them.

Who are you going to ask at GFR? The 3 soccer dads who are now running it?

With all that is going on with ECNL, GA, MLS Next, etc. it’s a really good time to have coaches and directors like NM and ML on your side, and letting them figure out how best to position the club…but it looks like the rec board is making a clusterf- of it all.

OMG. I can't even imagine that scenario.

I'd love to watch from afar.
