I'm with Bernie, we don't need billionaires. At least she's been using her voice and power to help women and girls. To the PP who complained about her charities in other countries, in the first place as above, you're wrong, she does support women and girls in the US. Secondly, you should do some reading. Global health crises and poverty bring problems to you right here in the US. From a selfish point of view, providing assistance to foreign countries benefits you. In the third place, I don't know how to explain that you should care about other people so I guess I'll leave it at that.

I don’t think the average person in a normal marriage is analogous here. Powerful/wealthy people are fairly isolated in terms of friendships and relationships. They can speak freely with very very few people. I can understand having a trusted person from your past that you continue to confide in. The average person doesn’t need the same outlet since we have friends we can confide in regularly and in a normal way.
