Now, at the age of 49, I'm 120 lbs. Just about 1-2 years ago, I was 110 lbs on average. I'm literally eating twice healthier, less food overall, no alcohol, and my weight won't drop a bit. This is what I ate today throughout the whole day:
Breakfast- 1 cup of unsweetened tea with 1 tsp of vital protein powder in it.
half of ciabatta bread ( from Costco) with a little bit of butter on it, slice of ham and caviar
.

Same. I never eat breakfast anymore, unless you count coffee with a splash of milk. Lunch is a small portion of leftovers or crackers with peanut butter and fruit. Dinner is normal as before but no dessert. I used to be able to eat 2 breakfast tacos; lunch was sandwich smothered in mayo with chips and fruit; dinner same as now, plus a bowl of icecream. That was 10 years ago. Now much less food and 12 lbs heavier. Plus I have to take thyroid medication now. Hormonal changes really change your metabolism as you get older. It's not just calories in calories out anymore. Sleep also impacts hormones.
Btw- I'm also 5'4" and 127lbs. I look ok, maybe even good for 50. If I can maintain this, I'd be happy. I've put my 112-115lbs days in my past.

not being sarcastic. I forgot how little I ate at that weight and how what seems like “not much” now is still much, much more than this.
PP that you quoted. I think the main reason that I stayed at the same weight over the years is that I'm not an emotional eater. When I'm stressed or upset I love to shop, that's my way of relieving stress. I'm making steak, sweet potatoes, and asparagus today![]()
