This is just not true. Adas Israel -- the large Conservative synagogue in Cleveland Park -- sent out a message last week specifically condemning these arrests and saying that justifying them in the name of fighting antisemitism is not acceptable.

"Over the past two years, we’ve watched with a flood of emotion as college campuses became sites of growing protest and, in some cases, blatantly unsafe environments for Jewish students. It has been painful to witness. Every student deserves the right to learn and live in a safe and respectful setting.

Without arguing with your underlying point about how bonkers the median Israeli voter is these days, Haaretz runs multiple anti-Netanyahu columns every day, not one every other week, in their opinion section. They also are among the only Israeli news outlets that does any skeptical coverage in their news section of anything about the war or any coverage at all of the misery and death Israeli is causing in Gaza. There is definitely a problem with Israeli attitudes toward Palestinians, but it's not Haaretz's fault.

For what it’s worth, Adas Israel sent an email out yesterday denouncing these arrests and deportation attempts and saying they go against both American and Jewish values. (For the people in this thread who have been suggesting that no synagogues would speak out against this.)
