We are almost worst than Russia in that regard. Russia allowed women into the military long before the USA. Russia actually seems to respect women more than our country.
I lived in Russia and the misogyny is worse, but takes a somewhat different form. It was really common in Soviet Russia for women to be doctors, nuclear physicists, etc. And they got paid maternal leave, and abortion was readily accessible. So that's three points in their favor.
But birth control was basically non-existent, so lots of women had 6-10 abortions in their lives. And women were responsible for all the household labor and raising of children. Most women didn't have things like blenders or microwaves or good vacuum cleaners, as that wasn't a priority for the government production, so they were doing housework like it was 1940 -- very labor intensive -- after a full day of working. Representation in the government was very token. And spousal abuse and sexual assault were extremely common. I've never seen women look more beaten down than Soviet or post-Soviet women in their 30s-50s. So, no, we are definitely NOT worse than Russia in that regard.

WTAF Trump?
There is zero evidence that Trump was involved in this. Cite your source.
Cite your sources that show he did not.
You know you can't prove a negative, right?![]()
It is not uncommon for criminal cases to take 5-10 years to be heard in Romania. Don't like that timeline take it up with that country.
The Romania prosecutor has already filed evidence of interviews with many victims (I believe 200 hours worth). BBC reported this.
Currently there is a defamation case the brothers filed in Florida against one of the women who provided testimony to the Romanian prosecutors office. She is apparently American and lives in Florida. She is listed as a Jane Doe. She had filed a motion to have the case be put on hold until the Romanian criminal case was decided. There is a hearing on this TODAY in Florida, west palm beach I believe. This is probably why the Tate brothers wanted to be in Florida right now.
If you are such a huge Tate brothers defender, how is it you didn't know any of this?

I find this very disturbing that this is a priority of the administration with everything going on. And then people wonder why young women are becoming alienated from the right- gee, I wonder why?
At least you used the correct term, “alleged.” Meaning: here in America, people are innocent until proven guilty.
And about that “proven” part: apparently the Romanians could not prove anything at all.

He is THE PRESIDENT. The buck stops with HIM
I read Grenell was behind this.

I just dont get it- this is outrageous. Why would anyone in power support these two crumbs of humanity?
As a woman I find this so depressing, especially if the administration truly did orchestrate it. WTF?

Not Welcome in Florida
DeSantis will be threatened and then he will welcome them. We've seen this before.

I don't think this moves the needle for almost anyone; those who voted for Trump support what the Tate brothers stand for and those who voted against Trump think they belong in prison.
I forget, are these guys white?
No
He is biracial
No, he identifies as Black.
If you insist on calling him biracial, he is just as biracial as Obama.
