They should lose their license on first confirmed offense AND it should be considered a felony with mandatory prison time. Needs to be serious consequences to deter them from abusing the power.

SS is essentially a government-backed ponzie scheme. Your contributions are NOT for you, but to pay the prior generation. Your benefits are intended to be paid by the NEXT generation. The system breaks down if population growth stagnates (or worse, declines).

But the farther we kick the can, the more abrupt and painful the scaling back will be. Or are you afraid the younger generation will acknowledge that scaling SS back actually takes some burden off their back?
