It makes me super angry and anxious, like wake up in the middle of the night anxious… but that’s usually just a day after the shot, maybe two.

So I’ve been on it for several months, but for me the mood shifts are real

I really think this class of (miracle) drugs does more than curb cravings and appetite, although that alone would make them worth it. I think it must also increase metabolism, because I eat similarly to much of what posters are saying they eat while on the meds, and my weight barely budges on the scale.

I know many of you will respond that I’m probably not aware of what I am actually consuming, but I strictly count and track calories and macros and weigh my food. As a result I feel like I am thinking about food constantly, weighing what to eat/not eat to stay within my limits for weight loss. I almost never eat out because of my dedication to/obsession with food tracking. It affects me personally and socially.

These drugs sound life changing and those disparaging them are lucky they don’t have the body and brain composition to need them.

I've been wondering the same thing. I had curtailed and documented my eating and exercise for so long and my weight would never budge. Now it has.

I don't have IBS, but I spent a lot of time on tirzepatide forums and what comes up over and over is that it has helped people with it. Posters are often amazed.
