according to the OK gov, they are supposed to work every summer to pay for their school lunches, even though he didn't start "working his way through high school" until he was 13. And paper routes still existed then. In smaller cities in the US they don't--the newspapers are digital only or all but 1-2 days.
Of course, he also picked strawberries and kindergarteners have an advantage in being short, I guess.

Higher grocery prices expected this week. Also unstable market means likely increase in unemployment.
But MAGA will be ok with it because Trump said the pain will be worth the price.
