If you’re trying to shop for “workout leggings” at a store that specializes in leggings, then it would be helpful to specify what type of workouts you’re doing and how you like your leggings to fit (naked, compressive, etc.). OP asked about Aligns, which are a signature Lululemon style and are extremely stretchy. The discussion here is about how people are apparently able to size way down in them. They are designed for lounging or very light activity (like yoga) so are probably not the best choice for workout leggings.
Other styles are designed for more strenuous workouts. It sounds like you could benefit from reviewing the website (which explains which are designed for what activities) and reading the reviews if you want to know how they fit.
