PP but my previous comment has nothing to do with current leadership. I have my opinions on the previous principal based on my personal experiences over a long period of time. I heard him say things that I found offensive and appalling for a school leader to say. I don’t know what is “appreciated” by Walls families.

They did Rent last year. The issue is also due to location and not being able to identify an actual theater to hold the musical. Walls does not have an auditorium (or gymnasium for that matter) and the relationship with GW in terms of facility usage is almost non-existent.

Why is it that way? Why can't the admin/DCPS improve their relationship with GW? I wish more was done. Same with the athletics.

DCPS fired the principal who had a strong relationship with GW. He was great at marketing the school (that does not mean he was a great school leader). GW also got a new president who has a different agenda.
