X Files - if you can stomach it. This would have grossed me out while pregnant
Sex and the City

Does any needlework interest you? That might be something to do with your hands, too. Cross stitch, embroidery, bobbin lace making - as you're aware you certainly won't have this luxury of time again for a while!

Yeah, as I posted I saw the original date. Sorry, OP, I bet you found plenty!

Nothing scary about any of those!

Freaks and Geeks takes a certain kind of watcher. I found it completely unbearable, but my husband enjoyed it. It's humor derives from really awkward situations, which just make me cringe (as though it were happening to me in real life).

My faves:

Firefly (and Serenity) - only 1 season long
Buffy the Vampire Slayer - 7 seasons - make it at least through season 2
Veronica Mars - first season is aMAzing
Gilmore Girls - so sweet

Definitely check out Dr. Horrible's Singalong Blog (it's just 40 minutes long).

Current shows I'd watch are Bones and Castle (if you like murder mysteries).

loved freaks and geeks! the writing and cast is fantastic, chock full of recognizable faces in their first big roles (James Franco, Jason Segal, Seth Rogen)
