In my opinion, it can't be more than 5% and this is a generous estimate from a highly skeptical person.
I'm sure most people have had crushes but its very rare for someone to act upon it. Most genuinely see infidelity as a religious sin and a character flaw.
Married Muslim men are often inappropriate to women - in my experience as a non Muslim single white woman. I don’t believe 5% would be unfaithful, more like 80%. Hitting on women, staring and making sexual comments is cheating if not a precursor to infidelity. Married Muslim men are prolific cheaters.
I am a married Muslim man and I agree that we are not immune to cheating. Being Muslim doesn't make me more faithful. I am sure a man who intends to cheat whether Christian, Muslim or atheist is going to do so regardless. If somehow Muslim men were more likely to be faithful women will be rushing to marry them because for a lot of women the fear of being cheated on is real.

Anonymous wrote:Probably depends how you define infidelity. Full on sex with another person? Probably 25-40%. Doing something inappropriate like sexting, kissing but less than sex? 75%+
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Wow. I would have said 5-10%. I’ve only known of one person in my adult life who cheated on a long term partner.
Key words -- known of.
I used to not know of any. Then I befriended a man in law enforcement. (I'm a woman.) He and allllll of his coworkers were cheaters. I learned the dirt on every single one of them. And most of them were complete dorks and unattractive, didn't matter. Maybe one in five of them, the wife found out. Most of the wives had no clue, and everyone smiled for their matching Christmas PJs pic.

Old, old, old data—-way before the internet and online booty apps and affair websites and Tinder.
It’s closer to the divorce rate: 50%
According to… trust me bro

It's seriously gross.
I think it's common. Wives look the other way. There are also gay men married to women who cheat on the down low. Also married men who prefer jobs with lots of travel- sex in hotels in other cities is easy.

I sincerely don't understand how two married people who interact and have something to lose if a move isn't reciprocated actually get to the tearing each other's clothes off phase.
How do two overweight parents on the third grade class field trip committee who know each other's spouses get there? Seems insane.
I think libido makes people do crazy stupid things.
