We're in LCPS and will take our two sweet weeks and miss a week of school, I have 1st and 2nd graders....so it's okay to miss a few days.

Now now no reason to call him dipshit. The schools should do any format for spring break except for the week before Easter.
If they do it secularly ex. first full week in April all the schools will be done with 3rd quarter regardless of when they started in late August.
If they do the week after Easter it assures no school the day after Easter, the week before doesn't help those celebrating Easter and in some years it's before the 3rd quarter is even over.

Next year the first full week of April is the week after Easter making it perfect both for secular purposes and Easter celebrations. Even Passover is mostly covered next year with April 3 (Good Friday) and the week of April 6-10.
