I doin’t know if you think I’m rich or not, but we make over $400k and I shop there for clothes — I buy t-shirts, gym clothes, and some of their more trendy clothes. I also buy home interior items (lamps, etc.) and just bought a cabinet for the living room. When my kids were little, I shopped at Target and Children’s Place for their clothes. My DD prefers to got to thrift stores for her clothes (she loves Unique). I never buy luxury items. Never.

I used to when DD was younger. Their clothes rarely fit me, so I don’t bother to even look through. That said, I have a few T shirts I got from them decades ago that are still wearable. The new stuff is definitely nowhere near as good.

We have HHI>1 million and NW> 10 million. I don’t know if that qualifies as “rich” on DCUM, but we buy clothes for our teens and the parents at Target, Costco and Old Navy. Mostly the basics.

The few exceptions are so good though. The $5 cat and jack cotton t-shirts are great. So are the leggings and the bike shorts. They’re just as good as the same thing from primary or Hanna Anderson. I make a seasonal trip to target just to buy more t-shirts and leggings. My kid is wearing a cat and jack tshirt and/or leggings like 80% of the time. We are rich and I would pay more if I got anything for it but I even like the designs on the graphic tees. They’re cute and nothing weird on the girl stuff.

I get a bunch of my 8 year old’s clothes there. The Cat and Jack leggings fit her well. The cotton shirts are also good. I don’t want to spend a ton of money on clothes she’s going to grow out of quickly.

For myself, I like some of their sweatpants and shorts. Not all of it works for me, but some of it does.

I get socks and undershirts for DH and the kids, and would buy something like an ugly holiday sweater there too. When kids were in daycare/elementary school I bought a lot of their clothes there, but not since they moved up to middle school.

I buy quite a few things at Target - less now that my kids are older. When they were young, I bought TONS of clothes there, for the whole family.

I also love thrift stores.

Not the ones l know. I consider “rich” to be either having enough family money to never have to work, or earning over $500k per year. Well ok, l think l know one rich family that probably does buy clothes there, but not most.

If the mom is SAH she has time to shop around and get good kids stuff on sale from better brands. For me target is about convenience, so good for the worker bees like me who are super busy and need to get in and out one stop shop.

Sure, I shop at Target frequently. I have a few clothes from there - mostly basics like t-shirts and exercise gear. I buy a lot of my kids clothes there too. Even my teen in happy to shop there.
I don’t really at other “discount” stores and I’ve found the quality at Target to be better than a lot of other fast fashion like H&M.
